Energy Audits
Rayle EMC’s highly trained staff can help you to save energy dollars, whether your home or business is already built or is still on the drawing board. We will come to your site and evaluate with you, such things as the capacity of the heat pump necessary, and recommend options for insulation, window and door construction, etc., and in general help you get the most for your energy dollar.

Rebates
Rayle EMC wants to help you conserve energy. Conserving means our peak demand can be kept down, requiring us to buy less energy, thus keeping your electricity bill lower.

This is why Rayle EMC, in the interest of environmental awareness, offers rebates for certain conversions to electricity from propane or natural gas.

For instance, replace a fossil fuel burning furnace with an electric heat pump, or replace a gas water heater with an electric water heater, and you may qualify for a rebate of a portion of the cost of the new device.

Security Lighting
Rayle EMC wants you to feel safe and secure around your home or business after the sun goes down. We offer security lighting that will illuminate your backyards, driveways, parking lots, and walkways, so that you and others can safely walk your property at night, and also deter those who might have intentions other than a neighborly visit.

Rates for installed security lighting are economical. If there is an existing pole which the light can be attached to, the monthly fee is $7.00. If Rayle EMC has to set a pole on which to mount the lighting, the fee is $9.00 per month.

You never have to be concerned with maintenance either. Rayle EMC will repair the light, and keep it working properly for as long as you have it.

Surge Protection
Power surges caused by lightning can be devastating to major appliances, not to mention the many devices containing micro-electronic circuitry found in the modern home or business. A power surge can develop by the simple turning on or off of a major appliance. High voltage surges can even occur when appliances or other equipment are turned off.
GET REAL PROTECTION FOR MAJOR APPLIANCES!

For just $5.75 a month, Rayle EMC can protect your investment in your home’s major motor-driven appliances (like the refrigerator, washer/dryer, well pump or air conditioning equipment) against damage due to power surges or indirect lightning strikes.

Our technician installs a REAL PROTECTION large appliance suppressor on your meter base. We maintain the unit or replace it if it goes bad – there’s nothing you have to worry about!

Rayle EMC, in cooperation with Walton EMC, also offers for purchase, a complete line of uninterruptible power supplies( UPS) for your computers. These devices provide a “grace period” after a power failure so you can save your work-in-progress, and then safely power down your computer.

Also available for purchase through our cooperative arrangement with Walton EMC is a complete line of REAL PROTECTION devices designed to keep lightning and other power surges from ever reaching your computer, TV, VCR, or whatever electronic equipment is plugged in.
