PAY YOUR BILL
View Your Bill
or Pay Online
Rayle EMC provides
several methods for bill payment. The idea is to make it as convenient for
you to pay your bill, as you want it to be.
Of course, you can still come by any one of our three offices, Mon.- Fri.,
from 8:00 am. until 5:00 pm., and either come inside or go through our
convenient drive-thru and drop off your bill payment. Also, at each
location, there is a secure night-drop box with a supply of payment
envelopes for you to place your payment in should you choose to come by
after regular hours or on weekends.
When we mail out bills, we include a window envelope for your use in
mailing your bill payment. Just detach the payment stub from your bill, and
return it with your check.
AUTOMATIC BANK DRAFT PLAN
Talk about convenience! This plan allows you to authorize Rayle EMC to deduct your monthly electric
bill from your checking account, automatically. Your account will actually
be debited within 5 working days of the due date on the bill.
Benefits of the Automatic Bank Draft Plan
• No more checks to write
• No payments to mail
• Saves you postage and checking fees
• Bills are always paid on time
• You’ll still receive a printed record of your bill in the mail
You can sign up for Automatic Bank Draft by printing out and completing
this PDF form.
It is also available at any one of our three locations. Simply bring the
completed form to the nearest office, along with a voided or cancelled
check to complete the sign-up process.

SENIOR CITIZEN PLAN
Rayle EMC
recognizes the special needs of its older members who may be on fixed
incomes and receiving retirement or social security checks once a month. We
want to make payment of electric bills for this group as convenient as
possible.
To qualify, you must be 62 years of age and be able to show that you are
receiving either a social security or retirement check. That’s it!
The billing date for this plan is the last business day of the month,
regardless of the day of the month of the meter reading. The due date is
the same as that allowed all members -
15 days from the billing date. Your electric bill arrives within a day or
two of receiving your check, making it easier for you to schedule payment.
To apply, you can download and complete this PDF form and bring it by our
office, or come by the office and we’ll give you a form to complete. All
you need to bring is a social security check or retirement check. Just
another of the ways Rayle EMC is
working to make your life just a little bit easier!
LEVELIZED BILLING
For many people, budgeting for electricity can be difficult
because of the seasonal nature of our electricity usage – usually, higher
in winter and summer and lower in the spring and the fall. To flatten out
the cost of this usage, Rayle EMC
offers Levelized Billing.
Each month, your bill is first calculated in the normal manner. But instead
of receiving a bill for that amount, your current bill is added to the last
eleven month’s bills. The total is divided by 12 to determine an average
cost. This calculation is done every month, so the effect is to level out
the highs and lows. Your total cost for your electricity is not reduced;
however, the month-to-month fluctuation in energy cost is reduced
significantly.
To qualify, a member must have lived at their present service address for
at least the last 12 months, and their payment history must be in good
standing for that same period of time.
You may stop participation in the program at any time, or Rayle EMC may discontinue your
participation should an unsatisfactory payment history develop, or if the
account has a bad check. If the member’s participation is cancelled, the
account will be adjusted for any deferred balance or credit.
Call the office today about any one or all of these convenient payment
programs. We’ll give you the information you need to enroll.
